Here are the top three stories today in Dunedin:

  1. If your child will be attending Dunedin Elementary School as a kindergartener this coming fall, consider attending an enrollment event on January 13. You will meet the school's kindergarten teachers, tour the classrooms, and learn more about the school's programs and how to get involved. Bring a photo ID to receive a new user ID and password to begin the enrollment process. Those planning to attend should meet in the Media Center at 5:30 PM. (Facebook | PCSB)
  2. Dunedin Parks & Recreation presents a new "Functional Fitness" class for ages 50+ at the Hale Senior Activity Center. Classes will be held Friday mornings at 9:00 AM with HeartMath Certified Coach, Katherine Janus. The class will focus on integrating muscles to work together rather than isolating them to work independently and condition your body for real-life activities. All fitness levels welcome. Classes are FREE in January! (Press Release Desk)
  3. There are still plenty of pets in the Dunedin area looking for homes. If you've been considering getting a cat or dog, choose to adopt rather than shop! Current dogs up for adoption include several greyhounds, a beagle-Chihuahua mix, a few pit bull terriers, a German shepherd mix, a baby husky, and a few American bulldog puppies! (Dunedin Patch)
