- Dunedin Parks & Rec is offering a new fishing camp this summer for kids between 8 and 11. Campers will go out on a charter boat and learn about the skills and tools needed to catch "the big one." Camp sessions are held June 7 through June 9 and July 5 through July 7 between 8 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Space is limited, so those who are interested should register as soon as possible! - Dunedin Parks & Recreation presents Voices of Jazz, a free concert on March 24 at 7 p.m. in the Dunedin Community Center. The concert will include big-band jazz, swing music, and modern arrangements of popular tunes. In lieu of ticket fees, donations will be accepted. (Dunedin Gov)
- Dunedin City Commissioners discussed plans for a new Highlander Park Aquatic Complex during a recent meeting. They plan to upgrade facilities with a competitive pool, a lazy river, an activity pool, slides, and shade structures for 2025. According to City Manager Jennifer Bramley, the aquatic center and other large city projects, such as the proposed parking garage and Dunedin Golf Course improvements, are funded by the American Rescue Plan Act. The discussion will continue among commissioners next month. (TBN Weekly)
