One Killed in Head-On Collision in Palm Harbor

Three others were seriously injured. Motorist crossed center line Wednesday afternoon, according to Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.

PALM HARBOR, FL — One person was killed, and three others seriously injured, in a head-on collision in Palm Harbor on Wednesday afternoon, according to Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.

The deceased was identified as Cassidy Wade Clark, 26, of Dunedin. He was driving a 2006 Jeep SUV.

A second driver, James Boles, 28, of Largo, and two passengers, Joshua E. Mihovetz, 31, of Largo and Allen Garsed-Vargas, 35, of Clearwater, were all listed in serious condition, according to investigators.

At 2:42 p.m., Clark was driving south on A-19 near Jeter Street when his vehicle crossed the center line on the two-lane road, according to investigators, and collided head-on with Boles' vehicle, 2004 Ford PK.

The crash closed both directions of Alt-19 for several hours.
