- There's plenty to do in Dunedin to celebrate Independence Day, including a Patriotic Golf Cart Parade on July 3 at 6:15 p.m. Golf carts decorated in red, white, and blue will leave the parking lot on New York Avenue and Virginia Street, drive through Mease Manor, and Downtown Dunedin. The parade will then head to TD Ballpark, where the city's Hometown USA event kicks off at 7 p.m. Learn more about these events and more at the link! (Dunedin Patch)
- If you're unable to attend Hometown USA at TD Ballpark, the Blue Jays have a game scheduled for July 4 at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are available here and are just $4! Attendees can grab hotdogs for just $2 at the stadium and participate in various other activities in the pavilion. In honor of Independence Day, the Blue Jays will be wearing special jerseys, and there will be a fireworks display after the game! (Dunedin Blue Jays via Facebook)
- CareLift at BayCare is in need of volunteers to assist in their efforts providing patients with free rides to their medical appointments at BayCare hospitals in the area. Their office is based in Dunedin and serves areas from Largo to Palm Harbor. The service is available Monday through Friday and helps improve the lives of the most vulnerable people in our community. They're currently looking for drivers, driver's aides, and dispatchers.
