- After attending a networking event for women in downtown Dunedin last spring, local Abby Harr started her own business. Pupnic Baskets offers charcuterie boxes for our furry friends who feel left out at snack time, and include dog food, locally-made treats, fruit, and veggies. Harr plans to also offer holiday gift baskets over the next few months which will include toys, treats, and other fun goodies for your pup. All of her baskets are hand-delivered in and around Dunedin. (WFLA)
- Dunedin Parks & Rec will be hosting a massive community garage sale on November 20. The event will be held between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM at the Hale Senior Activity Center. If you're looking to get rid of some things and make extra money for the holidays, the center is also looking for sellers. You can rent a 10-foot by 10-foot space for just $12 by registering in person at the Hale Senior Activity Center. (Press Release Desk)
- The City of Dunedin hosted the Great Pumpkin Drive-Thru event at Highlander Park back in October which included a Scarecrow Decorating Contest. Local businesses participated and displayed their scarecrows during the event, and The City of Dunedin has just announced the winners. Congratulations to Paws and Claws Animal Medical Center for having the most creative scarecrow and to Dreamers Dance Company for coming up with the best theme! (Facebook)
