Here are the top 3 stories in Dunedin today:

  1. A reminder to anyone using the Pinellas Trail today! Pinellas County Government Public Works are completing trail crossing upgrades today that will affect usage of the trail from Weaver Park to Sedeeva Street. You may notice some sections of the trail are closed. If so, be sure to follow the detour path. More details can be found at the link. (Dunedin Gov)
  2. Dunedin Pride is hosting a ton of exciting events next month in celebration of Pride Month. These events will be held at various businesses around Dunedin, many of which require tickets ahead of time. Events kick off with the Annual Pride Show & Dance Party at Blur on June 16 and the Dunedin Pride Gay-Lah on June 17. Other Pride Month events to look forward to include a pool party at the Fenway Hotel, a luau at The Honu, a silent disco at HOB, and a golf cart parade. You can find the full calendar of events and ticket information at the link. (Dunedin Pride)
  3. If your child is a budding biologist, ecologist, or conservationist, be sure to join Ms. Stacey, the Science Lady, today at 1 p.m. in the Hope Grove School Outdoor Classroom. For the Love of Nature is recommended for children between 4 and 10 years old. They'll get to listen to naturalist-inspired literature, participate in a nature-focused lesson, and have active explorations of the school gardens. Be sure to take advantage of this community event, as May 18 and May 25 are the last classes of the season. (For the Love of Nature via Facebook)
