- This weekend wraps up the season for the city's Piper on the Pier. The last performance will be held on April 29 at the downtown marina during sunset, which is predicted to happen at 8:04 p.m. This grand finale event will include a larger number of bagpipers than most weekends, who will all march down the pier as they play "Amazing Grace." - Evaluations for the new Youth Co-Ed Basketball League are coming up on April 29, May 6, and May 11. The program offers three age divisions for kids between 7 and 15 across several cities in North Pinellas County. This cooperative instructional basketball league is designed to teach the basic skills and rules of the game to new or seasoned players. - Laura Lobdell of Printed Hues is hosting a Coastal Watercolor Map Painting Workshop on April 29 at 10 a.m. at Tampa Bay Interiors. Lobdell will teach participants watercolor techniques while demonstrating how to paint the provided 8x10-inch template of a local coastline. All painting supplies will be provided and are yours to take home, including a 36-color set of watercolor paints, a set of six brushes, a mixing palette, and a paintable watercolor guide.
