- Madison Avenue Pizza relaunched its Pizza Skiff delivery service, bringing its prized pizza pies to your boat, waterfront house, or sandbar. They deliver orders throughout the Northern Pinellas area on Saturdays and Sundays, weather permitting. Orders always stay fresh inside the skiff's heated delivery bags. In addition to delivering catering, the Pizza Skiff always carries fresh pies on board for hungry boaters they meet on the way! To place your order, call 727-754-6144 or message @pizzaskiff on Instagram. (Creative Loafing Tampa)
- Patch continues to partner with T-Mobile to honor local dads ahead of Father's Day. Meet Kyle, "the most loving and supportive" father celebrating his first Father's Day. Nominated by Sedona, Kyle "is such a hands-on new daddy and is always taking good care of me and making me laugh." Check out the link to nominate someone you care about this Father's Day! (Dunedin Patch)
- Fertilizer restrictions in Pinellas County have gone into effect and will last through Sept. 30. During this period, fertilizers containing nitrogen may not be sold or used. Additionally, fertilizers containing phosphorus may not be used at any time of the year unless a soil test confirms it's needed. These restrictions are put in place as fertilizer runoff can pollute waterways and cause harmful algae blooms. Pinellas County recommends using summer-safe lawn care products. You can find the best management practices to keep a healthy landscape during the summer at the link. (Dunedin Gov)
