  1. The Dunedin Writer Group is hosting the "Stop. Look. Listen Series" on Feb. 18 between 1 and 3 p.m. in Meeting Room A at the Dunedin Public Library. Stop by this free event to hear local authors read their work from this year's "Best of the Dunedin Writer's Group Anthology." You can pick up a copy of the anthology at Back in the Day Books. (Dunedin Library)
  2. Rat Riders Bicycle Club is hosting a Dunedin Bicycle Ride on March 4 at 11:30 a.m. Riders will meet at the pavilion next to Lane's Lemonade & Dairy Bar and stop at local shops, bars, and restaurants. While there, participants can shop and have drinks, but the main goal will be to ask for donations that will be given away at the Vintage & Custom Bicycle Show & Swap. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Dunedin VFW Post 2550. (Rat Riders Bicycle Club via Facebook)
  3. Plans to transform the old city hall into a pocket park are moving forward. Commissioners recently provided input on preliminary designs and authorized staff to demolish the building. The demolition will begin by ripping up a portion of the floor to see what's underneath. This will help them create a demolition plan that will ensure the building can be taken down without damaging the trees on the property. While there is currently no funding for the pocket park, the city plans to allocate money in the next fiscal year’s budget. (The Business Journals)
