Here are the top three stories in Dunedin today:

  1. Three sea turtles were released Thursday at Honeymoon Island State Park after spending some time healing at Clearwater Marine Aquarium. Their injuries were all related to human interaction. A juvenile Kemp's Ridley sea turtle experienced some swelling after it was found entangled in a fishing line and a buoy. The second juvenile Kemp's Ridley sea turtle was found with severe shell deformities. A third turtle, a juvenile green sea turtle, was found to have tumors on both eyes after it was accidentally captured in a fishing net. All three turtles fully recovered and were released into their natural habitats, making 28 rehabilitated sea turtle releases by CMA this year. (WTSP)
  2. Direct From Dunedin is hosting a Business Mixer today between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. at the Dunedin Scottish Arts Foundation.
