DUNEDIN, FL — Nightly lane closures will take place on the Dunedin Causeway from June 8 through June 23 while a Pinellas County contractor mills and repaves the roadway. The dates are subject to favorable weather.

Work will only be performed Sundays through Thursdays from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m., to avoid the busiest times for traffic and beach use. Residents and businesses along the causeway are being notified separately, and digital message boards have been positioned in both directions to alert motorists and pedestrians. Access to businesses will be maintained.

Drivers using the causeway during construction hours should exercise extreme caution around workers and traffic control devices, and follow the directions of flaggers. The repaving project extends from Alternate U.S. 19 to the turnaround before Honeymoon Island State Park.
