  3. Nine-year-old Iliana Gorshe started a donation drive for the community called Iliana's March Cereal Drive. Her inspiration for the project came from a school assignment. "For school, we had to choose something to do. If they’re struggling ... Dunedin Cares can just give them food, so they don’t have to worry about paying for everything. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and I feel like cereal is just like a classic thing to eat for breakfast.” Last year, people donated over 1,100 cereal boxes to Gorshe's project. This year, her goal is 1,200 boxes. Anyone interested in participating can donate cereal to the Dunedin Public Library. (CBS Local)
  4. The Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) announced on Monday it's cutting fares in half as gas prices soar across the country. The change will begin Monday, March 21, and last through May 31. PSTA will also further discount fare paid through the Flamingo Fares card or app. The $3 card fee will be waived if you load more than $20 onto your new card. (ABC Action News)
