  1. The Dunedin Youth Guild is hosting its Annual Scholarship Luncheon and Fashion Show on March 11 at 10:30 a.m. in the Dunedin Community Center. This year's theme for the show is "All Around The Town," with clothing provided by Suncoast Hospice. The event will kick off with a pop-up “Hospice Shop” in the building lobby between 9:30 and 11 a.m., where guests can shop deals on garments and accessories. The main event begins at 10:30 a.m. and includes lunch catered by Palate Culinary Services, door prizes, a fashion show, and more. Tickets can be purchased from any Dunedin Youth Guild member, by calling 727-734-0394, or online here. Proceeds from this event support the Scholarship Program for Dunedin students.   2. Dunedin's Second Friday Art Market is back in Pioneer Park! The event will kick off on Feb. 10 between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. and continue on the second Friday of every month. Stop by to shop from various vendors selling crafts, photographs, original artwork, and more! Any vendors interested in participating in these events can contact the organizers through Facebook. The Dunedin Public Library is hosting "Nesting Shorebirds and Seabirds of Tampa Bay" on Feb. 15 between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. The informative seminar will be led by Holley Short, shorebird program manager of Audubon Florida. Guests will learn about five local shorebird species, how to ID them, and how to help if a bird is in trouble. No registration is required. (Dunedin Public Library)

  • The Dunedin Concert Band is holding its Winter Concert on Feb. 19 at 3 p.m. in the Dunedin Community Center. The "El Pirate Capitan Jazz" show will include songs appropriate for families with kids 7 and older. Tickets are available online now. (DMS)
