Sons of the American Revolution Clearwater Chapter swear in new officers at December meeting

DUNEDIN, FL — The Sons of the American Revolution Clearwater Chapter swore in new officers at their in person general membership meeting on December 21 at the Dunedin Golf Club at noon.

The chapter normally holds its meetings every third Wednesday of each month, except for a summer break between June to August. Forty-two members and guests attended the meeting.

The new officers from left to right in the photograph are: Secretary Larry Patterson, Board of Governor James Grayshaw, First Vice President Timothy Shaner, Board of Governor Robert Anderson, Sergeant At Arms Russell Pebworth, President Walter Arnold, Board of Governor Parks Honeywell, Treasurer Thomas Hancher and Second Vice President Harry Fuller.

James Grayshaw won the 50/50 jackpot, which he donated back to the chapter, Norma Stallions won the gift basket and John Schaerffer won the fish fry dinner certificate.

The Sons of the American Revolution is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to enhancing education, promoting patriotism and preserving American history. Members of the Sons of the American Revolution can trace their lineage to a patriot who supported the cause of American Independence.
