  1. The Dunedin Public Library is hosting Teen Tea & Trinkets on April 25 between 6 and 7 p.m. Teens between 12 and 18 can stop by the library for an hour of arts and crafts led by Dunedin Youth Volunteers. Participants will learn new mediums and techniques while making new friends. All supplies and snacks will be provided. (Dunedin Library)
  2. Local shoppers can celebrate the grand opening of the new Winn-Dixie on County Road 1 with raffles and events this weekend. On Saturday between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., shoppers can enter a raffle to win a $100 gift card every 30 minutes and spin a prize wheel for the chance to win a gift basket, branded merchandise, and bakery items. Additionally, shoppers can enjoy a live cooking demo with a local chef between noon and 4 p.m. and a special drawing to win a Blackstone grill at 1 p.m. Click the link to learn about the special events on Sunday. Registration is open for the Dunedin Hog Hustle 5K Run on May 6 at 8 a.m. The course begins at the Hale Senior Activity Center and follows a scenic route along Edgewater Drive and through downtown Dunedin. Those interested can register online on in person at the Dunedin Community Center, Hale Senior Activity Center, or the MLK Jr. Recreation Center by May 4. The first 500 people to register to get a free dry-fit T-shirt. Everyone gets a pancake breakfast, and the top finishers will receive awards. (Dunedin Gov)
