1. Pinellas County libraries offer free sign language classes for babies and toddlers to help them communicate with the adults in their lives. The classes are run through the Deaf Literacy Center and taught by new mom Jessica Rottloff. According to Rottloff, teaching babies sign language has significantly reduced temper tantrums, with some people going as far as saying it may eliminate the "terrible twos." 2. The Fenway Hotel is hosting an End of Summer Pool Party on July 29 between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Tickets are $20 and include a welcome cocktail, passed hors d’oeuvres, and music. Kids under 10 years old can attend for free. Learn more at the link. (Eventbrite)
3. If you have kids at home between 18 and 36 months, be sure to head over to the Dunedin Public Library on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. for Toddler Time.
