Love your dog? Then why are you feeding them commercial “pet grade” dog food?
Would you eat your dog’s food? Sounds like a rhetorical question — because we all know commercial dog food is made from things humans wouldn’t touch with a 10-foot pole, let alone a dining fork.
Dr. Janice Elenbaas had a different idea. She loved her pups too much to give them anything but whole foods she’d serve her own family — grass-fed beef, chicken and fish, along with barley, rice, tomatoes, even extra virgin olive oil. Fifteen years ago, she and her husband started Lucky Dog Cuisine and offered their recipes to dog lovers everywhere. Their guiding principle: if you wouldn’t eat it yourself, why would you feed it to your dog?

(To prove the point, Dr. Elenbaas’ husband once ate Lucky Dog Cuisine every day for a month. It tastes great on a taco.)
You can get started with Lucky Dog for as little as $79 with their special introductory offer. And for $159/month, you can get enough Lucky Dog to feed a 20-25 pound dog, sent straight to your door. To see their full menu — and to make your dog incredibly happy, visit Lucky Dog Cuisine today. Dunedin readers can enjoy a free bag of homemade cookies when you order and mention Patch.

Here are the top 3 stories in Dunedin today:
- The Dunedin Fine Arts Center is holding Trashy Treasures this weekend, March 18 and 19. According to CL Tampa Bay, this year's art garage sale event is bigger than it's ever been, "with donations of legit art and art supplies outpacing past years in such dramatic fashion that the nonprofit has had to hold pop-up sales just to make room in storage." The event kicks off on March 18 at 6 p.m. with a Best of Trashies Party. For $10, you get first dibs on sale items, a hot dog, and beer. You can also attend for free on March 19 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. to shop for items that will be priced to sell. (CL Tampa Bay | DFAC)
- The Scottish American Society is holding a 40th Anniversary Party on April 8 at 2 p.m. in Weaver Park. Guests will enjoy bagpipe performances, Scottish Highland Dancing, and live music by The Byrne Brothers from Ireland and Skerryvore from Scotland. Tickets are just $15. Various vendors will be on site selling beer, wine, and more. (Dunedin Patch)
- Don't forget to get your tickets to the 2023 Dunedin Highland Games scheduled for April 1 between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. This year's event will be bigger and better than any other! Guests will enjoy performances by Pipe Bands and Highland Dancers as they compete across various categories. Athletes from around the world will also be in attendance, competing in traditional Highland games. Get your tickets now to enjoy a day filled with live music, dancing, Scottish food, drinks imported from Scotland, and so much more. (Eventbrite)
