  1. IMPORTANT: Due to a nationwide outage, Pinellas County Regional 9-1-1 is currently unable to receive emergency calls from Verizon users. If you use Verizon, call 727-588-4761 when in need of emergency assistance. Do not use social media to seek emergency help as these platforms may not be consistently monitored and will not result in immediate assistance. You can check the Pinellas County Government Facebook page or website to receive updates on when this is fixed. (Pinellas County Government via Facebook | Pinellas County)
  2. Remember when the film "R.A.D.A.R.: Adventures of the Bionic Dog" was being filmed in Dunedin? It turns out the dog who starred in the film alongside actor Dean Cain performed most of her own stunts! “Beck learned every behavior they asked of her, from digging a hole to picking up a treasure chest,” said Cassie Kennedy, owner of Ohana Dog Training Center in Plant City. “The only trick she couldn’t learn was how to fly, for that they used CGI.” Beck isn't the only pup trained by Kennedy who has achieved stardom though. Some of her other trainees have been featured in kids’ music videos, at sporting events, and on the Home Shopping Network! (Osprey Observer)
  3. The City of Dunedin is experiencing IT issues and as a result, they are currently unable to receive emails. Additionally, residents currently can't make online payments for permits, utilities, and Parks & Recreation or Marina fees. If you have questions or need information you can call the City Main Line at 727-298-3000 or reach out on social media. (Dunedin Patch)
