Looking for a great place to put up guests in Dunedin?

We all know Dunedin is a great place to visit. And we love it when our friends and family come to town. We just don’t always want them to actually stay in our homes. But how do we get that across without sounding, you know, a little rude…?

Here’s an idea: strongly suggest they stay at the Mai Tai Suites. Owners John and Karen Bickford offer fully furnished 850 square foot 2-bed, 1-bath suites for less than the price of a hotel.

Here are the top 3 stories in Dunedin today:

  1. The City of Dunedin offers water fitness classes at Highlander Pool on Saturday mornings between 9 and 10 a.m. After June 3, classes will also be held at the same time on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The classes offer a great cardio workout with little or no impact on the body. The workouts are designed to tone muscle, increase joint range of motion, and reduce pain and stiffness. Those interested can register online here or in person at Highlander Pool. (City of Dunedin via Facebook)
  2. Have you ever wanted to learn how to paint a beachy scene without using a paintbrush? Get your tickets to an exciting painting event at HOB on May 16 at 6:30 p.m. While paintbrushes will be available to use, artists will have the opportunity to learn a technique that uses other tools. All tickets include a drink, and food can be purchased at a food truck onsite. Get your tickets to reserve your spot at the link. (Eventbrite)
  3. VFW Post 2550 invites you to watch a Memorial Day Parade of Military Vehicles from their venue on May 29 at 1:30 p.m. The parade will be followed by a special ceremony to honor our veterans. All are welcome to attend. Food, drinks, and camaraderie will follow the ceremony. (VFW Post 2550)
