Bald Eagles Making East Lake Home

At least one nest in John Chestnut Park is visible from East Lake Road, according to WTSP 10 News. Have you ever spotted a bald eagle nest?

Bald eagles are making their home in East Lake, WTSP 10 News reports, citing Florida EagleWatch.

According to WTSP's online report, there are at least four nests in the East Lake area, including one in John Chestnut Park that is visible from East Lake Road.

"If you're going north, take a look to your left when you pass by the fire station and Montessori school," WTSP reports. "Look for the tallest tree and you'll see the nest."

There are also nests at the Grey Oaks and Lansbrook subdivisions, according to the news station.
