Love My Neighborhood: Lansbrook Offers Elegant Living

Tucked away on the shore of Lake Tarpon is Lansbrook, a large community off East Lake Road.

You've probably seen the large elegant cobalt blue-tile "Lansbrook" sign at the entrance at the corner of East Lake Road and Lansbrook Parkway. There are just under 1,900 homes in the 20 subdivisions that make up this lushly-landscaped community, according to Lippy Real Estate. It's not uncommon to see deer grazing in the grassy areas of Lansbrook.

The community features a private, gated waterfront park on Lake Tarpon that includes a boat ramp, docks, walking trails, volleyball courts and a pavilion. The Lansbrook Golf Club has an 18-hole course and driving range. The golf course is available for membership or on a daily-pay basis, all according to Lippy Real Estate's website.

Lansbrook Commons Park is a popular spot for residents to exercise and play. Celeste Hunter, who lives in the Juniper Bay subdivision with her family, recently met up with other moms at the park so their kids could all play together.

"I like the neighborhood and parks and greenspace," said Hunter, who moved to Lansbrook a year-and-a-half ago. "Fridays at the park are a big deal," she said.

Lansbrook Commons Park has a playground, basketball courts along with soccer and football fields.
