“This initiative reflects the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office's ongoing commitment to reducing traffic-related deaths, injuries, and property damage caused by impaired driving. The Wolf Pack's mission is to educate motorists and raise public awareness about the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol, chemicals or controlled substances,” the sheriff’s office said.

This operation was dedicated to the memory of Marion Miller, who was hit and killed by an impaired and speeding driver on April 5, 2023, in Dunedin. The driver was under the influence of both alcohol and marijuana.

“Impaired driving is a crime with no intended target, and any innocent motorist could be its next victim,” the sheriff’s office said.
