Suncoast Animal League Needs Help During Storm
The shelter is asking for foster parents to help during the inclement weather.

The Suncoast Animal League is asking the public's help in securing foster homes or animals housed at the shelter. Here's a message from the group's Facebook Page:
"Hello friends, we have a favor to ask. With the bad weather we are experiencing, we're trying to get all our dogs out of the shelter and into foster homes so they can ride out the storms in comfort."
One of the pets featured was Gigi. Here's what shelter staff had to say about her:

"GiGi is a very sweet girl. GiGi is a 6 year old, low to the ground, medium size Corgi mix who weighs about 30 pounds. She is a beautiful red color and she gets along well with children, other dogs and cats. GiGi is a little shy but seems to be comforted by a soft voice, big heart and a gentle hand. Since she has been with us, she has been gaining confidence, learning more commands and walks nicely on a leash. She is crate trained and appears to be house trained."
