Sunset Beach Music Series Kicks Off
The beach concerts are free and this week's attendees will have the opportunity to sign a banner dedicated to the Boston Marathon.

Nothing says warmer days like Tarpon Springs' Sunset Beach Concert Series. The music on the beach begins again this week Thursday, April 18 at 7p.m.
The concerts are free and sponsored by the Tarpon Springs Recreation Department along with various community partners. Different musical acts are featured each month at Sunset Beach, located at 800 Gulf Road.
This long standing tradition has become a hit in the community.

"We do this because there's nothing like the community getting together and listening to good music on the beach," said Daniela Smyth, city recreation specialist.
Smyth added that this week's concert will be special because of a Boston Marathon banner dedication. The banner will be dedicated at 7 p.m. and attendees will be encouraged to sign the banner throughout the evening.
