Residents will decide on a mayor, a city council member and 11 charter amendments.
OLDSMAR, FL — The city of Oldsmar will host municipal elections, including elections for mayor a city council member and 11 charter amendments on March 15.
On the ballot are:

Amendment Adding Fire and Emergency Services to List of Municipal Functions
Shall the introductory paragraph of Article I of the City Charter be amended, pursuant to Ordinance 2021-28, to add fire and emergency services to the list of municipal functions?

Amendment Regarding Charging Stations
Shall Section 1.01 of Article I of the City Charter be amended, pursuant to Ordinance 2021-28, to delete reference to cable television and add reference to charging stations?

Amendment Regarding Voter Approval on Revenue Bonds
Shall Section 1.01 of Article I of the City Charter be amended, pursuant to Ordinance 2021-28, to require voter approval for the issuance of revenue bonds that exceed 10% of the assessed value of property in Oldsmar?

Amendment Regarding Charges and Fees on Redeveloped Property
Shall Section 1.01 of Article I of the City Charter be amended, pursuant to Ordinance 2021-28, to authorize City Council to impose charges and fees to those developing or redeveloping property?

There is no early voting for the March 15 election.
Those receiving mail ballots have two options:
- Mail the ballot to the Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections office. Voters are advised to allow at least one week for their ballots to reach the supervisor of elections.
- Or drop off your ballot at the supervisor's office. Instructions are provided in your ballot packet.
