• Developer preps Florida City resi project with $8M-plus bond issue (therealdeal.com) — A 446-home Old Town Floridian community is moving forward in Florida City, with infrastructure partly funded by an $8.6 million Community Development District bond that residents will ultimately help repay through assessments. The 77-acre project at Southwest 336th Street and 192nd Avenue will add villas, townhomes, and single-family homes around existing lakes, with about $12 million in road, water, sewer, and stormwater upgrades planned.
