United Refrigeration signs industrial lease in Fort Myers

FORT MYERS, FL, December 3, 2024 – United Refrigeration, one of the largest wholesale distributors of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) equipment, parts and supplies in North America, is relocating its Fort Myers branch operations. The Philadelphia-based company recently signed a lease on a 17,325-square-foot industrial warehouse and office space at 10898 Metro Parkway, Unit B.

Maddie Sawatzky of Colliers represented United Refrigeration in the lease transaction. Enn Luthringer of CRE Consultants represented the landlord, Ebenhoeh U.S. Real Estate Holdings.

“United Refrigeration had specific space requirements in an industrial market with low supply, low vacancy and rates on the rise,” said Sawatzky, Senior Associate, Industrial & Land Services for Colliers. “This space meets all their requirements, is right down the street from their current location, and will provide them with room to continue to expand their presence in the local market.”

United Refrigeration was previously located at 13080 Metro Parkway in Fort Myers. The new space will include roughly 14,000 square feet of warehouse space and 3,000 square feet of office space, with a reception area, multiple offices, a conference room and kitchen.

Founded in 1947, United Refrigeration is a trusted name among mechanical contractors, supermarkets, small entrepreneurs, service mechanics and large industrials. The company has more than 400 strategically placed distribution warehouses in the United States and Canada to ensure consistent deliveries and inventory replacement.
