1 Killed, 1 Missing, 2 Hurt As Boat Flips Near Fort Myers, Reports Say
Three people were pulled from the Caloosahatchee River but one did not survive, the reports said.
FORT MYERS, FL — One person was killed and two were injured, and authorities were searching for a man late Saturday after a boat crash near the Cape Coral Yacht Club, reports said.
A 60-year-old man was missing, Fox4 reported, quoting the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
Authorities did not release details about the person who died or the two who were injured.

The crash was reported about 5 p.m. Saturday on the Caloosahatchee River, between Fort Myers and Cape Coral, when a witness called to say a boat had flipped, Gulf Coast News Now reported.
The Fort Myers News-Press reported the boat was described as a 38-foot Nor-Tech, a racing vessel.

The U.S. Coast Guard responded as did the Cape Coral Fire Department, which pulled three people from the water. One of them was pronounced dead at a hospital, the Fox 4 report said.
