12 Days of Volunteering: Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity is a nation-wide organization that builds and renovates homes for those in need. Monthly events take place to ensure positive change and groups of volunteers are always a necessity to get the job done.

Once you register on the Habitat for Humanity website, you will be able to sign up for work days that fit into your schedule.

There are a wide range of volunteer positions that need filling on a regular basis, from mailings and events to deconstruction and restoration.

If time is an issue, donate in a different way. Habitat for Humanity is always taking donations of items from their wish list. Some of the items that they can never have enough of are:

• Working TV's
• Working Refrigerators
• Working Stoves
• Working Washers/Dryers
• Kitchen Cabinets
• Bathroom Vanities

As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, Habitat for Humanity will provide a tax deductable receipt for all donations.
