5 Things to Know: Fresh Market, Dancing and Karaoke Night

Head out to the open-air market today to pick up fresh produce and seafood. Try the tango on Tuesday, too!

  1. Sponsored by the Gulfport Merchants Association, the year round open air market will be in full effect on Beach Boulevard (below 29th Avenue South). The event hosts 30 vendors that offer everything from fresh produce and seafood to local crafts and hand-made soaps. Live music will be played as well.

It all starts off with a beginner’s class at 1 p.m. After that, it’s Ballroom Dancing followed by a break until 6:30 p.m. when Tango Tuesday takes over the studio; Tango Tuesday is a first timer’s tango class. Then, from 8-9:30 p.m. guests can pay $7 to watch an Argentine Tango Dance in the ballroom.
