5 Things to Know Today: Friday, Dec. 2

1.) First Friday Art Walk: Find the perfect gift at the First Friday Art Walk tonight at 6 on Beach Boulevard. You'll find just what you're looking for at one of Gulfport's local businesses and/or one of the vendors!

2.) Music in the Courtyard: Come out for live entertainment tonight on stage at the Art Village Courtyard. Music starts at 6, with Gabe Whitney and the Noisemakers, followed by Leona Hayes and the Treature Island Drummers from 8-10.

3.) Attention, Antique Vendors: An area for antique vendors is being added on the first and third Tuesday of each month at the Gulfport Fresh Market, First Friday and the Third Saturday art walks. For more information, check out the announcement on Gulfport Patch.

4.) Beach Boulevard Cleanup: Come one, come all, to help clean up Beach Boulevard on Saturday, 9 a.m. Meet at the Gulfport Multipurpose Senior Center parking lot, 5501 27th Ave South.

5.) Friday Forecast: It'll be sunny with a high near 72. Expect a northeast wind between 10 and 14 mph with gusts as high as 20 mph. Tonight, it'll be partly cloudy with a low around 60. Expect an east, northeast wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.
