Free Christmas Concert, Bake Sale, High of 70 and more in "5 Things to Know Today."

Free Christmas Concert: There's a free Christmas Concert in the Art Village Courtyard at 7:30. Bring an ornament and help decorate the Christmas tree. Please bring an unwrapped (new) toy for children for All Children's Hospital.
Christmas Decorations and Bake Sale: The neighbors of the 5600 block of Newton Avenue host the annual Christmas Walk and Bake Sale starting tonight at 7. It features decorations that include scenes from classic Christmas movies; there are free crafts for kids, and visits from Santa and Mrs. Claus. Please bring new and used toys and books to be collected for the Christmas Toy Workshop of St. Pete. More dates include, Dec. 9, 10, 16, 17 and 23.
Donate to CASA: The Gulfport Police Department is collecting donations for CASA, Community Action Stops Abuse. The organization needs clothing, personal care and hygiene items and gifts. The dropoff box is in the lobby of the GPD and will be there until Monday. For a complete list of what CASA needs, check out their "wish list" on their website.

Operation Santa: You can also help make sure children in Gulfport receive gifts this holiday season. The Gulfport Police Department is collecting unwrapped toys for their "Operation Santa" program. Stop by Gulfport City Hall Police Department at 2401 53rd St. S. with your donation.Â
