5 Things to Know Today: Art Walk, Health Expo, Run & Walk for Cancer

Free Health Expo: There is a free mini-health, nutrition and fitness expo today from noon-6:30 p.m. at the Gulfport Casino Ballroom, 5500 Shore Blvd. S.

Walk & Run for Cancer Awareness: The second annual J. West Prostate Cancer 5K Run and Walk is Saturday, and you still have time to register. Just go online to sign up. It's $20 for the run or $25 for the walk. The run and walk start at 8 a.m. on Saturday. If you're already registered, pick up your packet and T-shirt today during the health expo at the Gulfport Casino Ballroom.

First Friday Art Walk: The first Art Walk of 2012 is tonight from 6-10 p.m. in downtown Gulfport. Come one, come all! For more information, call 866-ART-WALK (278-9255).
