Recycle Your Christmas Tree: I know, I know. It seems too early to even think about taking down the tree. But here's a bit of information for when you do. Gulfport is offering a Christmas tree recycling program. Leave your tree out for curbside collection with yard waste on Wednesdays. For more information, call 893-1089. If you want to drop off a tree, you can drop it off at the Pinellas County Solid Waste facility, 3095 114th Ave. N., St. Petersburg. The trees will be recycled into mulch to be given away free to the public.

Nutcracker Performance: Get your tickets now for The Guilfoil Ballet Theater's Nutcracker at the Catherine Hickman Theater on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets range from $20 to $35. Reservations are required for both shows. Purchase tickets online.
