Operation Santa: Get involved with the Gulfport Police Department's annual "Operation Santa" program. The department is now accepting applications for assistance through Dec. 2nd between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Police Department. Each family’s head of household must bring photo identification, proof of Gulfport residence as well as the name(s) and age(s) of child(ren) living in the home. More Cleanups Planned: Did you lend a hand at one or both of this weekend's cleanup events? See how people came together to cleanup Gulfport Blvd. and Lincoln Cemetery over the weekend. And mark you calendars, the Gulfport Neighbors are hosting two more cleanup events. The next one is on Dec. 3rd on Beach Blvd. Check out the Gulfport Neighbors on Facebook!

Calendar for the Holidays: Looking for gift ideas? How about a Gulfport Historical Society Calendar for $5? The theme is "Postcards from Gulfport!" You can pick them up at the Gulfport Historical Museum, 5301 28th Avenue South. The museum is open Monday - Friday from 2 - 4 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon. Admission is free.
