Great American Teach-In: Today is the 17th Annual Progress Energy Great American Teach-In throughout the area. Hundreds of people will be speaking to students about career options, hobbies and more in Pinellas County. I will be talking with journalism students at Boca Ciega High School today. "Our Town" Grand Opening Tonight: The Boca Ciega Pirate Players will present Thornton Wilder’s classic, Our Town, on Nov. 17-19 at 7 p.m. in the BCHS main auditorium. Tickets are $5 and will be sold at the door.

Help Clean Gulfport Boulevard: Mark your calendars for Saturday! Please join the Gulfport Neighbors and Friends for a litter cleanup on Gulfport Boulevard, from 49th Street South to 59th Street. Cleanup starts at 9 a.m. in the Walgreens parking lot.
