Holiday Show: The Debbie Bacon Holiday Show is today at 1 p.m. at the Catherine Hickman Theater. Tickets are $10.
One on One with Ken Welch: Pinellas County Commissioner Ken Welch, who represents Gulfport, will host Community Office Hours on Wednesday, Dec. 7, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., at the West St. Petersburg Community Library at St. Petersburg College, first-floor, Room LI142, 6700 Eighth Ave. N., St. Petersburg. Mutual Aid with Tampa: Gulfport City Council voted unanimously to allow the Gulfport Police Department to enter into a mutual aid agreement with the city of Tampa. This is the first time the department has agreed to have a mutual assistance agreement. Chief Robert Vincent says Gulfport PD may be called to help in Tampa for large planned events or very serious events and vice versa.

Ordinances Passed: The Gulfport City Council voted on the first reading of two ordinances at Tuesday night's regular meeting. One calls for increasing the litter fine and the other restricts solicitors from leaving coupons and flyers at a Gulfport home without first talking to a resident. We'll have more information about both ordinances later today.
Wednesday Forecast: We have a 20% chance of rain after 1 p.m. Otherwise, it'll be partly sunny with a high near 74. Expect a south wind 6 to 9 mph becoming west northwest between 18 and 21 mph. Winds could gusts as high as 29 mph. Tonight, it'll be mostly cloudy with a low around 52. A north northwest wind between 14 and 20 mph.
