Bark for Life Draws Survivors and Furry Friends
The first annual Bark for Life event in Gulfport helped bring owners and pets together and raise money for the American Cancer Society.
Many are familiar with the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life events across the country. But, what about Bark for Life?
Gulfport hosted the first ever Bark for Life event in Florida. People and dogs alike registered for $10 to take part in the fundraising event. The event included a survivor lap, pet-friendly vendors and a demonstration by a Pinellas County Sheriff's Office K-9 Unit.
