Five Things to Know for Today: Boca Ciega High School Needs Unused Pearls while Gulfport Seniors Prep for a Talent Show
Get out your 2012 calendars because as the new year approaches, a slew of exciting events are coming with it.
- The 58th St. litter clean up that has been cancelled. It was scheduled for January, but due to another event the pickup will be rescheduled for another day and time. Stay tuned to Patch for a new, finalized date.
- Vendor applications for Gulfport's annual event "Get Rescued" are due by January 24th. The event takes place in February and has become a Beach Blvd. tradition. Pets and their owners roam the streets to raise awareness and funds for animal rescue organizations. Non-profit (501c3) rescue groups get a free space at the event. Sign up now.
- Seniors interested in entering the talent show are encouraged to get their acts together for the audition that is set to take place on January 11th. Auditions for the Senior Talent Show will be held at the from 1-5 p.m.
- needs your unused pearls. The BCHS Girlfriends of Pinellas, Lady Pirates will be using the pearls for an induction ceremony in late January. Donations can be dropped off at Mrs. Myles' office (Room 01-027).
