Gulfport Woman Found Dead
A 24-year-old woman was found dead in a St. Petersburg motel room.
The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office is investigating a homicide at La Quinta Motel.
Officials say Destynee Nekole Burkes, 24, of Gulfport, was found dead in a motel room at 4999 34th St. North, in St. Petersburg, on Monday afternoon. The motel is in the Lealman area.
Pinellas County Sheriff's Office Detectives are currently on scene.
