Man, 31, Killed In Gulfport Shooting

The Gulfport Police Department is investigating a Tuesday night shooting that left a 31-year-old man dead.

GULFPORT, FL — The Tuesday night shooting death of a 31-year-old man is under investigation by the Gulfport Police Department.

According to the agency, the shooting occurred in the 2600 block of Miriam Street South around 10:35 p.m. July 4. Police say the man, who has not been identified, was shot multiple times. He was taken to Bayfront Medical as a trauma alert, but later died from his injuries.

The investigation into the shooting remains active with no suspect announced at this time. Further details are not being released.
