Man, 73, Charged With Lewd and Lascivious Battery on Boy in Gulfport
Prometeo Inglesias-Bernal, of Pinellas Park, was known to the 13-year-old victim but was not a family member, Gulfport Police said.
A 73-year-old man has been arrested and charged with lewd and lascivious battery on a 13-year-old boy, a crime that authorities say took place in Gulfport.
Prometeo Inglesias-Bernal, of Pinellas Park, "was known to the victim but was not a family member," according to Gulfport Police spokesperson Sgt. Thomas Woodman.
Investigators say he performed oral sex on the boy at least once.

The incident occurred in mid-January and was investigated by both Gulfport Police and Pinellas Park Police, Woodman said in a media release.
"The incident was proven to have occurred in Gulfport but there are also allegations that it occurred in Pinellas Park," Woodman said.
