• Gulfport Council Approves Infrastructure Measures Dec. 16 (thegabber.com) — Gulfport’s City Council just approved a $1.3 million state grant to harden potable water infrastructure in Town Shores and advanced several storm-readiness and modernization projects. Council also greenlit a new cloud-based phone system, a cost-cutting street-sweeping deal with St. Petersburg, and debris-management agreements with Pinellas County to speed post-storm cleanup and protect reimbursement dollars.
