Summer Fun in Gulfport
Find out what your child or teen can do for fun this summer in Gulfport!

Every summer, there is always a variety of activities for kids to take part in. This year is no different. As the peak heat season approaches, so do a number of fun filled events. From dancing to baseball, there is a little something for every child's taste offered in Gulfport.
For kids aged 5-14, the Gulfport Rec Center's summer lineup is looking quite eventful. Camp starts on June 11 and runs through August 17. Click here for a full calendar of the planned field trips. A Rays baseball game and Chuck E Cheese are just a couple of the many activities your child can enjoy this summer.
The first friday of June, July and August will be the designated swing teen dance times at the Gulfport Casino. On June 30 (Saturday), teens 13-17 can enjoy a night of dancing in their red, white and blue attire. Admission for swing night is $7 and on June 30 it will be $5. - Aquamania on Gulfport Beach
Down by the beautiful waterfront in Gulfport, the Gulfport Area Chamber of Commerce will host its first ever Aquamania event. The family friendly festival will be held on Saturday, June 23 from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. There will be a water balloon toss, live music, cornhole and even a paddle board race. Local celebrities will be sinkable in the dunk tank, which will be on hand all day long. Art vendors along with beer, food and drink will also be available.

Every Wednesday: From 2:30-4 p.m., kids can stop by the Gulfport Public Library for teen board game day.

Every Thursday: From 10:30-11 a.m., stop by the library for Story Time. Preschoolers can enjoy handpicked stories in the Youth Services area around the rocking chair.
Flag Day/Father's Day Crafts: Starting at 1 p.m. on Father's Day weekend (Saturday, June 9), families can participate in creating holiday artwork.
Family Movie Day: Beginning on Saturday, June 9 families can stop by the library and catch a movie for free. Movies start at 10:30 a.m. and free popcorn will be provided by the library.
