The First Art Walk of 2012 is Scheduled for Next Week

Local artists stretch down the strip of Beach Boulevard on the first Friday and third Saturday of every month in Gulfport. The event is year round, weather permitting.

Vendors include local craftsmen and artists that are selling their work and/or services.

Aside from the multitude of booths sporting local art, all of the unique shops along Beach Boulevard will also be open for business.  and the are a few of the businesses that will be open to the public.

If shopping isn’t your game, check out the ’s mini-classes on glass blowing. Classes will be offered by master glass blower and IAC artist Jackie Ballard.

Don’t forget to star gaze with the St. Pete Astronomy Club and their high tech telescopes aftetr enjoying a meal on the strip. Visit one of more than a dozen of Gulfport’s fine restaurants to find out why it was dubbed one of the “Best of the Road” food destinations by USA Today.
