Wish Me Luck
Do you like playing in the mud? I'm putting my mind, body and soul to the test in what many say is 'the TOUGHEST one-day event on the planet.' It's to help raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project.
It was about this time last year that my husband Robert asked if I would take part in the Tough Mudder obstacle course. Well, after minimal thought, I said sure.
Well, the last 12 months have gone by faster than I ever thought and now, which is probably not the best timing, I’m wondering why I agreed to this?
“Tough Mudder” is a 7 to 12 mile obstacle course including barbed wire, wooden walls, balance beams, a fire run and more. In all, I believe there are 25 obstacles. The organization does this to help raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project. In all, the website says, more than $2 million has been raised.

Since I’ve kind-of, sort-of, not-really trained for this huge event, I’m asking all of you guys out there to wish me luck! Hopefully we’ll get some photos to document my efforts and I can share them with all of you.
By the time many of you read this, Robert and I will be on our way to the course or covered in mud somewhere in the course. We are part of a team and will have team T-shirts! Our “wave” begins at 9:40 a.m. on Saturday.

“Tough Mudder” is hosting events Saturday and Sunday in Dade City, FL. As of Friday night, Saturdays course was sold out with Sunday nearly sold out.
