2 Police Officers Injured In Jacksonville Shooting, Suspect Dead
Two Jacksonville Sheriff's Officers were shot Friday night on the heels of a shooting involving two officers in Kissimmee.

JACKSONVILLE, FL — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office took to Twitter Friday night to announce a shooting involving two of its officers. The announcement came on the heels of a shooting that left one Kissimmee Police officer dead and another gravely injured.
Jacksonville authorities have released very little information about the shooting, but said both officers were alive as of early Saturday morning. One was in critical condition as of 12:50 a.m. Aug. 19. The other was stable. The suspect in the case was shot and died at a hospital, the agency reported on Twitter.

Meanwhile, in Kissimmee, two officers were shot in the area of Palmway and Cypress. One officer has died from his injuries. The other was in "grave" condition, according to Chief Jeffrey O'Dell. A suspect was reportedly in custody, but further information about the shooting is also not available.
