Woofie’s® of Davenport-Kissimmee Celebrates Grand Opening

Local pets welcome premier mobile pet care to Central Florida.

Woofie’s® celebrated the grand opening of its newest Florida location, Woofie’s of Davenport-Kissimmee, on November 8 at the Visit Central Florida Welcome Center. Guests and furry friends enjoyed a pet photo booth from Hot Dog Pet Photography, special event pricing on mobile pet spa services, raffles, BBQ from Honey’s BBQ, Cookies from The Cookie Lab Orlando, and The Farmer’s Dog food samples and dog treat giveaways for pets. The celebration also featured live music performed by Curl Power, an all-female rock pop trio, and booths from local collaborators like Doody Patrol, Wintuck Home, Bright N' Shine Pet Dental of Osceola County, Spoiled Pet Accessories, Bark Busters Southwest Orlando, Sue Sews, Lexi’s Mini Mushies, Unleashed Rehab, and Sadie’s Nook.

The new Woofie’s location--owned and operated by husband-and-wife team (and high school sweethearts) Jeremy and Helen Viens--brings a new level of personalized pet care to the diverse, vibrant Central Florida community. Woofie’s of Davenport-Kissimmee stands out as one of the only local providers offering mobile grooming, pet sitting, and dog walking services. Their mobile grooming van accommodates dogs over 80 pounds and features AKC S.A.F.E. certified groomers dedicated to safety and comfort. This marks the 7th Woofie’s in Florida, with other locations serving Delray, Palm Beach, Lutz, South Tampa, Orlando, and Space Coast.

Owners of Woofie’s of Davenport-Kissimmee, Jeremy and Helen Viens, originally from New Hampshire, relocated to Davenport last year for the sunshine, diverse community, and proximity to Disney World. Inspired by the love of their dogs—Flynn the Bernese Mountain Dog and Meg the Doodle—and a desire for a fresh start, the couple began exploring new career paths and soon discovered Woofie’s. A common theme that resonated for Helen throughout her previous careers in education, travel planning, and senior relocation services, was the invaluable bond between her clients and their pets. Combined with Jeremy’s 21 years in the financial services industry, the couple’s experience has taught them the lessons of teamwork, compassion, customer service, time management, and relationship building.

“We know firsthand how important it is to find loving, trustworthy people to care for our pets,” said Helen Viens, co-owner of Woofie’s of Davenport-Kissimmee. “Our goal is to provide the compassion, professionalism, and quality service that the Woofie’s brand is known for—giving pet parents peace of mind whether they need grooming, pet sitting, or dog walking.”
