Publix Shopper In Lakeland Purchases Winning Gold Rush Card Worth $1 Million: FL Lottery
A Lakeland man is starting his 2022 off right as a lucky person after his $20 Gold Rush Limited investment turned into $1,000,000 Tuesday.
LAKELAND, FL — A Lakeland man is starting 2022 off as a rich man after he got a winning $1 million Gold Rush Limited scratch-off game at Mulberry Publix Tuesday, the Florida Lottery said.
Dean Mills, 46, chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $795,000. He purchased his winning ticket at Publix, 2040 Shepherd Road, Mulberry. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning scratch-off ticket.
The Lottery's $20 scratch-off game, Gold Rush Limited, features 32 top prizes of $5 million and 100 prizes of $1 million. Additionally, this ticket is filled with over 33,000 prizes of $1,000 to $100,000.
