2 Teens Sought On Murder Charges In Drug Deal Shooting: Sheriff
The Polk County Sheriff's Office is searching for two teens accused of killing a Poinciana man during a drug sale that ended in gunshots.
PONCIANA, FL — Authorities are searching for two teens who are accused of killing a Poinciana man Monday in what investigators called a drug deal gone bad, the Polk County Sheriff's Office said. (Video provided by PCSO of the shooting is at the bottom of the article.)
Both suspects, Tarmetris Mack, 18 and Alfred Higgs Jr., 17, are sought on warrants for first-degree murder and armed robbery charges, according to deputies.
Detectives said the victim met the suspects at a 7-Eleven, 398 Marigold Ave., after 3 p.m. to sell them a bag of marijuana. During the transaction, Mack and Higgs are accused of robbing the victim and then fatally shooting him, investigators said.

The suspects left in a dark blue car and were headed westbound on Walnut Street.
Detectives described Mack as 6-feet-1, 170 pounds, and Higgs is as 5-feet-8 and 145 pounds.

Authorities said the suspects may be driving Mack's 2016 blue Chevrolet Malibu with FL tag PVZB39.
